Consignor Info

• All clothing must be on hangers.  WIRE hangers are preferred but not mandatory.  The key is to make sure your item will not fall off.  
• Wire hangers can be bent to accommodate childrens clothing and then re-shaped so that the item will not fall off.
• Hang all clothing with hanger hook pointing left.  (Metal hangers preferred)
• When hanging two-piece outfits, hang shirt first then attach pants w/ safety pins to back facing outward.  This allows viewing of both pieces without raising shirt. 
• When hanging pants, do not fold over hanger bar.  Instead pin to top of hanger, see example below.  Pants folded over do not sell as well.
• All items need to be clean free of stains, rips, tears, or missing buttons.
• Shoes should be tied together with ribbon and placed in a ziploc bag.
• Ziploc bag all small items and tape 3x5 index card to it.
• Toys with small pieces,  ziploc small pieces and tape to larger part.
• All battery powered items sell best if they have working batteries. - Don’t forget the chargers.

Tag Your Items: All items must be tagged with a 3x5 index card, see example. Consignor # in top left corner, price below the description in the center, size in top right corner, and lower right corner “ND” if you do not want your item sold at a discount. Leave the lower right corner blank if you would like to sell you item for 1/2 price on discount day. If you don't want your item to sell for 1/2 price but would take less, write that price in the lower right corner with the letters "DD" (stands for discount day).  Do not put a price less than 1/2 off.  ex: if you have a $20 item, you would take $15 for it but not $10, write "$15.00 DD" in corner.   Size:  use newborn, 6mo., 9mo., 12mo., 18mo., 24mo., 2T,3T,4T,5,6,7,..etc. Do not use S,M,L for children’s clothes.  Put a “B” for boy and “G” for girl next to size. Write the item description in the center of the card, this helps prevent theft by  card switching. Price in whole dollar amounts, $3.00, $4.00, $5.00 etc. Price items to sell, typically 1/3 of retail.  Adjust price up or down based on condition. Remember don’t price according to sentimental value, but what you would pay for it yourself. Please do not price anything less than $2.00. Attach tag with 1” or larger safety pin (placed vertically) to the top right of garment. DO NOT use straight pins or small gold pins. Use a ink pen to make tags, DO NOT make corrections.  Items with corrected tags will not be sold.  This is to protect the consignor by preventing theft from modifying tags.

• Once you arrive the average length of time is 20 min depending how many items you have.
• All items must be clean, on hangers and priced BEFORE you arrive.
• Sign a fire/theft/loss waiver and pick up an consignor pass for the consignor early bird sale.  We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
• Once inspected you will place you items in the proper size location, This will go faster if you have presorted your items by size and gender.

• Pick up your items during the times listed, see Sale  Dates.  No Early Pick-Ups!
• Check lost and found for items that may have lost cards, no consignor #, etc.
• Have your items checked out and sign the check out list before you leave.
• Items not picked up will be donated and a check will be mailed to consignor.
